At this weekend’s Triplemania XXXI Mexico City event, Brian Cage was set to appear in a four-way match for the AAA Latin America Championship match but was replaced by Texano Jr. And now the AEW star has addressed his absence on social media, revealing he was hospitalized at the time for an unspecified reason.
Fellow AEW star QT Marshall would go on to win the four-way match against Texano Jr., Dralistico, and Pentagon Jr and was crowned the new champion, and it remains unknown whether Cage’s circumstances affected the result. Most importantly, though, is Cage’s health, and hopefully, whatever he has been dealing with isn’t too serious, and he won’t miss too much time from the ring.
