On January 7th WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas seemingly randomly shared a strange video of himself laying on the floor, being repeatedly punched in the face and then stomped on by an unidentified woman. And while this would quickly begin to trend, with some fans mocking Atlas’ well-known foot fetish, nobody would have anticipated the reach it would achieve. Because as of writing, the clip has been watched a staggering 1 million times.
Despite being 68 years old, Atlas still occasionally wrestles, with his last match being October last year. And while a wrestling legend in the 80s, modern-day fans likely remember him best for his time managing Mark Henry in WWE’s version of ECW starting in 2008. He was also a cast member of legends house in 2014.
Additionally, in the past, he has also appeared during Raw legend shows, so with Raw 30 coming up, there is the possibility he will be returning to WWE television later this month. Nevertheless, the timing of the video could affect that, as WWE may want to avoid association with such a high-profile viral video.
