Bam Margera’s Brother Pleads For Help To Find Former “Jackass” Star

The saga of Bam Margera has sadly continued in recent weeks as the former “Jackass” and “Viva La Bam” star appears to be firmly in the grips of addiction.

Margera vowed to smoke crack until he dies over not being able to see his son amid his divorce from his estranged wife Nikki.

TMZ obtained a video that was posted on Saturday as a clue to his whereabouts. In the clip Bam is hanging with random people at a Pennsylvania bar and grill. Witnesses reportedly said he told them he was getting ready to fly to L.A. to check into rehab.

Bam’s brother, Jess, tweeted asking for help on Sunday.

“If anyone in the LA area knows of bams current whereabouts or a hotel he might be at please call the LAPD immediately,” he wrote. “I am trying to get them to ping his phone but as usual it’s a whole huge process and I don’t think we have that kind of time. If you guys could all retweet this that would be really cool of you. Thanks for your help.”

The attorney for Bam’s estranged wife Nikki responded to Bam’s threat to smoke crack until he dies.

“Unfortunately, that’s not how the addictions work,” David Glass told TMZ. “People’s behavior does not drive others to drink. This is a typical defense mechanism, and it shows that Bam may not have learned much in his past addiction’s treatment. You have to take responsibility for your own actions. Nikki sincerely hopes that Bam can first achieve and then maintain sobriety, for his own good, and for the good of their son.”

A month ago, rocker Billy Idol expressed his concern for Bam after Jess tweeted that Bam destroyed a guitar that Idol had gifted him.

“Of all the guitars to smash while having a psychotic episode, bam chose the Martin acoustic we got from @BillyIdol Unforgivable,” wrote Jess.

Billy Idol took note of the tweet and offered some words of encouragement, also eluding that he would be willing to replace the guitar.

“@jessmargera, That is a shame but we can replace it … but Bam, we need him well,” said Idol in response to Jess’ initial tweet.
