While Alexa Bliss should be on top of the world, thanks to having resumed her WWE career earlier this year, with it understood she received a significant pay increase, that isn’t the case. This is because her beloved cousin Vanessa has tragically passed away following a battle with cancer, with the WWE star emotionally disclosing this on X, saying, “I’ll miss you & I love you. Until we meet again.”
After returning to WWE television as a surprise Royal Rumble match participant in February, 33-year-old Bliss wouldn’t initially make much of an impact, with WWE seemingly not sure what to do with her. Still, that would change last month when she qualified for the women’s Money In The Bank match, and now looks set to go deep in the Queen of the Ring after winning her first-round tournament match, which included one of the betting favorites, Charlotte Flair.
