Queen Aminata is another AEW success story, having earned a contract two years ago and subsequently becoming a regular on-screen character. However, having traveled to the UK to work AEW’s television taping in Glasgow, and their Forbidden Door show in London, the Guinean-American has taken to Instagram to reveal she is currently unable to return home as her passport has been stolen. Aminata would note that Thursday is presently the earliest she will be able to return home, which, considering she is a mother, likely feels like an eternity.
32-year-old Queen Aminata broke into the business back in 2017 and, since then, has slowly been making a name for herself, even wrestling a tag match alongside Jaylee on a WWE house show in 2019 against Asuka and Kairi Sane. However, it was AEW matches that have really caught fans’ attention, and after initially appearing on AEW’s YouTube shows, she earned a full-time contract and has gotten to share a ring with the promotion’s most prominent female stars, Toni Storm and Mercedes Moné, looking every bit their equal.
