Thanksgiving eve’s numbers were disappointing for AEW, they won most of the demos, but the over 50’s was again a significant problem them. NXT would go on to win the week by 147,000 viewers.
This week they bounced back and won the week by 6,000 viewers.
AEW Dynamite increased from 663,000 average viewers to 851,000 viewers, and NXT increased from 810,000 average viewers to 845,000 viewers.
AEW had The Young Bucks and Dustin Rhodes beating Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara. The introduction of the Lexicon of Le Champion setting up a match against Jungle Boy for next week, and Jon Moxley defeating Joey Janela int he main event.
NXT featured Killian Dain defeating Pete Dunne, Matt Riddle beating Kassius Ohno, and Keith Lee, Tomasso Ciampa, and Dominik Dijakovic defeating Undisputed Era in the main event.
Six thousand viewers is within the margin of error, but I’m sure AEW will take the win given how badly the lost week.
