Brock Lesnar returned to WWE television at SummerSlam, having been absent from the company for two years after being implicated in Janel Grant’s lawsuit. And now, a spokesperson for Grant has issued a statement saying they “look forward to the full set of facts, including those about Mr. Lesnar, coming out in a court of law where they belong.“
While Brock Lesnar is not a defendant in Janel Grant’s shocking lawsuit, it is alleged that he requested a video of her urinating, as well as wanting to meet with her for a “play date.” Therefore, WWE had no other option but to distance itself from the former UFC star to avoid any further reputational damage. Yet it appears management believes enough time has passed, and therefore, Lesnar vs. John Cena will likely be WWE’s most prominent feud going forward.
