On Thursday afternoon, gear designer Mecha Musume took to Instagram to blast Zelina Vega for underpaying her for custom attire and not following up with the promised exposure. Subsequently, X user @sangrebomb shared his own story of working with Vega, claiming via a series of screenshots that she cut ties with him when he asked for royalties on designs he did for her.
Obviously, these types of allegations have caused the WWE star to be slammed on social media. However, Vega has subsequently re-activated her X account to defend herself, and after revealing that in @sangrebomb’s situation, he wanted to re-negotiate after initially not wanting payment, would ask, “How am I the bad guy here?”
Vega is currently in her second spell with WWE, having been fired on November 13th, 2020, after she refused to follow their controversial policy of not working with third parties. This would prompt her to take to Twitter and share her support for pro wrestling unionization. Yet she would later delete the tweet and was heavily criticized by some fans for being a hypocrite after returning to the company.
