WWE wrestler Sheamus hasn’t wrestled since the August 18th, 2023, episode of SmackDown, when he faced Edge. The reason for his long absence is understood to have been because of a shoulder injury, although as he was advertised for shows last December, it was thought he had healed. However, despite this, he has still not returned to the ring, and now he has unexpectedly deactivated his X account, leaving fans concerned.
46-year-old Sheamus has been with WWE since 2007, although his long-term future with the company is currently uncertain. This is because a few months ago, it was reported that his contract was set to expire in the first part of 2024, and since then, there has been no news of him re-signing. Still, it should be noted that with him having missed so much time injured, WWE can choose to add that time to the end of his current deal, therefore extending his time with the company.
