WWE Reportedly Interested In Signing Three AEW Talents Once Their Contracts Expire

Recently, WWE has been bolstering its roster with departing AEW talents, with Mariah May being one of the most notable wrestlers to make the switch. And now, according to Bodyslam.net on X, WWE management is looking at possibly hiring former ROH star Danhausen, as well as Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy, collectively known as Private Party, when their contracts expire in the coming weeks.

34-year-old Danhausen is best known for his comedy wrestling style, and some have claimed his over-the-top character didn’t fit in with AEW’s desired product. Still, despite his absence from television, he remains a big merchandise mover. Therefore, it seems WWE sees potential in marketing someone who has built his name without a significant push.

Concerning Private Party, the duo made their name on the indies before signing with AEW in 2019. Subsequently, they caused a massive upset in the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions by defeating The Young Bucks in the first round.

However, due to the presence of bigger-name teams and Quen suffering an injury that sidelined him for over a year, the duo fell down the pecking order. And while they would cause a major shock by winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships last year, neither man has been used since they dropped them.
