The Great Khaki retired in 2018 and has since focused on his own promotion and training school, CWE, back in India. However, it has now been announced that he will be returning to the ring next month, when he takes on former AEW wrestler Parker Boudreaux in a match taking place in Dhanbad.
The Great Khali, real name is Dalip Singh Rana, debuted in pro wrestling in 2000 as Giant Singh in APW, going on to wrestle in NJPW, CMLL, and AJPW. From there signed with WWE in 2006 and memorably attacked The Undertaker on debut, winning the World Heavyweight Championship in 2007. Still, he would eventually become a comedy character and departed the company in 2014, but was later acknowledged by WWE by being inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2021.
