The wrestling world is mourning the heartbreaking loss of eight-year-old Scarlett Guillen, a devoted Charlotte Flair superfan who formed a special bond with the WWE star. Diagnosed with the rare Diffuse Midline Glioma brain cancer, Scarlett faced her illness with remarkable courage, but has now tragically passed. During her short life, Scarlett inspired countless fans and wrestlers through her custom ring gear designs for her hero, and a GoFundMe has been launched to help cover her family pay the funeral expenses.
“Our hearts are shattered beyond words. After an incredibly courageous battle with DMG, our beautiful daughter Scarlett has gained her angel wings. She was only eight years old, yet she touched more lives than many people do in a lifetime … Being Scarlett’s parents has been the greatest honor of our lives. Every moment with her was a gift. Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she is in heaven running around making new friends and back on the softball field.“ – Scarlett’s Parents via GoFundMe.com
Scarlett attended WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas as Charlotte’s special VIP guest, receiving exclusive behind-the-scenes access. For the event, Charlotte dedicated her entrance gear to Scarlett’s fight, with the pair coordinating matching looks that symbolized their deep connection. Earlier, at Survivor Series 2025, the then-seven-year-old personally designed Charlotte’s ring gear. This saw Charlotte proudly wear the design and gift Scarlett a matching set for an emotional ringside moment.
