Why Bray Wyatt Isn’t Being Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame Has Been Reported

The wrestling world was heartbroken when Bray Wyatt passed away, and subsequently, fans began campaigning for him to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. And while a leaked list of those being inducted would include him as part of this year’s class, it has since been reported WWE management changed their minds.

Since then, fans have been left wondering why, and now, in the latest issue of Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s been revealed the reason is that his upcoming documentary on his life and career was seemingly deemed enough for this year. Yet, it was also noted he would likely go in at a later time.

”I was told this had something to do with the decision not to induct Wyatt into the Hall of Fame this year, that this year they were doing the big documentary for him and would induct him later.”

Earlier this week, WWE officially announced that “Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal” would premiere on Peacock from April 1st. Therefore proving the company wants to ensure his memory lives on and he is adequately acknowledged. However, a Hall of Fame induction would still have been the icing on the cake for his die-hard fans.
