Why Adam Cole’s AEW Television Time Has Reduced

AEW star Adam Cole is currently sidelined due to breaking his ankle in three places after he jumped off the entrance ramp while coming to MJF’s aid last September. Yet despite this, he remained heavily featured leading up to it being revealed he was The Devil at World’s End. However, his television time has since been reduced, and now Fightful Select has reported that the reason for this is that traveling was slowing down his recovery.

“Fightful Select is told that Adam Cole has been off of the road of lately, as it was slowing the progression he was making towards recovering from the injury.”

34-year-old Cole hasn’t had the best of fortune with injuries since joining AEW, as he missed nine months from the ring after suffering a career-threatening concussion at Forbidden Door in 2022. Still, he bravely battled back from this, proving his resiliency, and there is no reason to believe he won’t be able to make another such comeback, even if it does take even longer this time.
