It’s been a running joke for years that Brock Lesnar takes substantial breaks during his WWE runs, and this is down to securing a lucrative and favorable part-time agreement others could only dream of. And now it has been reported by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio that following his defeat to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, ending their series of matches at 2-1 in favor of Rhodes that Lesnar is again taking another significant hiatus.
Precisely how long Lesnar will be absent from the company is unclear, however, Meltzer speculates it would be “four months or something like that,” which would see Lesnar return in time for WrestleMania season. Who he will face then remains a mystery, however, since he shook hands with Rhodes at SummerSlam, it seems that their feud is concluded.
