It’s well known Vince McMahon is a fan of big men, and now he has Keith Lee on Raw, he is committed to pushing him to the top. This was evident after Lee scored the biggest win of his career last night’s Payback match defeating Randy Orton clean in under seven minutes.
Now in a report from talkSPORT, it has been revealed Vince McMahon wants to “push Lee to the moon” and tasked Orton with making Lee a star. Orton did this willingly, and with tonight’s episode of Raw set to be based around establishing a new #1 contender, it could very well be Lee taking on Drew McIntyre at Clash of Champions.
It’s been a huge few months for Lee, who became the first person to hold the NXT and North American Championships simultaneously, after defeating Adam Cole at The Great American Bash on 1st July (aired 8th July). He’d vacate the North American Championship and lose the NXT Championship to Karrion Kross on 22nd August, before making his Raw debut two days later.
