Ever since Tony Khan purchased ROH, wrestlers of the past have been welcomed to appear for AEW’s sister brand. And now, in the latest example of this, it’s been confirmed by fans in attendance at their latest set of tapings that Shannon Moore made his debut for the promotion. However, while fans were happy to see the former WWE and WCW performer wrestle against Blake Christian on the show, fans on social media have been noting how different he now looks, having fully embraced the aging process.

46-year-old Moore began wrestling in 1995 thanks to being a childhood friend of The Hardy Boyz. His big break would come in 1999 with WCW, when he joined a boy band parody stable called 3 Count alongside Shane Helms and Evan Karagias. Subsequently, he joined WWE in 2001, where he aligned with Matt Hardy, becoming a Mattitude Follower, abbreviated as an “MF’er.” And while he is fondly remembered from this time, in later years, he became more of a journeyman wrestler, earning his living on the indies in between WWE and TNA runs.
