Velveteen Dream Currently Incarcerated Following Probation Violation

It was recently uncovered that former WWE talent Patrick Clark Jr. who wrestled as Velveteen Dream in NXT, had been arrested twice in August. The first arrest occurred on August 20th for battery and trespassing and was then again taken in on August 26th for possession of drug paraphernalia. And while it was later revealed that he’d been bailed out by WWE’s Ashante Adonis of Hit Row, PWInsider.com has now reported he is again incarcerated due to violating his existing probation.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to PWInsider.com this afternoon that former WWE star Patrick Clark was indeed placed under arrest for a violation of his existing probation. Clark remains incarcerated in Seminole County (where he was transferred yesterday) and is currently listed as having a court date on 9/19 at 1:30 PM.

Disturbing allegations were made against Clark regarding minors in 2020, and while WWE claimed they carried out an internal investigation that cleared him, fans wouldn’t forget, with  #FireVelveteenDream a regularly trending topic on Twitter. Ultimately this would cause WWE to release the former NXT North American Champion on May 21st, 2021, effectively ending his career. And while there has been speculation that with Triple H in charge of talent relations, Clark could make a shock return, that now doesn’t appear likely.
