After Kiana James was called up to the main roster during the WWE Draft, fans began digging into her past, seemingly wanting to find out more information about the new Raw performer. This would subsequently include sifting through over a decade’s worth of her tweets, leading to calls for her to be canceled due to some problematic messages she posted when she was an immature 14-year-old. However, given her age at the time and how long has passed, it’s doubtful WWE will be interested, but it will likely have embarrassed James.
26-year-old James, real name Kayla Klingensmith, made her pro wrestling debut in 2021 on AEW Dark, and despite wrestling a handful more matches for Tony Khan’s promotion, she signed with WWE in early 2022. From there, she was fast-tracked onto NXT television, and just over a year later, she would win the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships with Fallon Henley, demonstrating that the company saw real potential in her despite her inexperience.
