Update On Why AEW Original Has Been Absent From The Ring

Chuck Taylor of the Best Friends stable hasn’t wrestled since early October, when he was part of an eight-man tag match on Rampage. Therefore, there has been plenty of speculation regarding this, and now PWInsider.com has reported the reason is because he is dealing with a foot injury. No timeline for his return was provided, but hopefully, the popular performer won’t miss too much more time.

“We’ve been asked where Chuck Taylor has been of late. The word making the rounds is he’s dealing with a foot injury.”

37-year-old Taylor began training in 2002, at the age of 15, going on to wrestle his first match the following year. Since then, he has wrestled for multiple promotions, including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Evolve, TNA, ROH, and New Japan. However, he was seriously considering retiring from the business at one point. Yet, he ultimately decided against this and was rewarded when Tony Khan signed him and tag partner Trent Beretta when AEW first launched.
