KnokX Pro has been in the news following the sickening attack by MMA fighter Raja Jackson on defenseless indie wrestler, Sgt. Syko Stu Smith, resulting in the army veteran being hospitalized. And while most people have placed all the blame on Jackson, some have said the promotion could have done more, especially after footage showed that, rather than immediately getting Smith medical assistance, they allowed him to be pinned by his opponent.
And now, seemingly indicating that WWE management agrees, the KnokX Pro Academy is no longer listed on the WWE ID program’s website. This indicates that WWE has cut ties with the promotion and school, which will likely be a considerable blow to Rikishi, who owns and runs the company.
The WWE ID program was launched in 2024 and offers independent wrestlers a potential route to becoming a WWE Superstar. At the time of the announcement, it was confirmed that Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling, Seth Rollins’ Black and Brave Academy, Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory, the Elite Pro Wrestling Training Center, and Rikishi’s KnokX Pro Academy were all official partners. Still, it appears there is now a vacancy for a new school on the West Coast.
