Update On Bray Wyatt Potentially Getting Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame

Almost immediately after Bray Wyatt tragically passed away, fans speculated about a potential WWE Hall of Fame induction for him. And while it appeared he was set to be included in this year’s class after the list was leaked on Reddit, Dave Meltzer has now reported that this isn’t the case, and as of yesterday, the former WWE Champion wasn’t going in.

“It was confirmed to us yesterday that with the exception of Lia Maivia, all members of the 2024 Hall of Fame class have been announced. Regarding rumors of Bray Wyatt, obviously he was on the list at one point but it’s not planned, or at least wasn’t as of yesterday.”

Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, found fame in WWE as a cult leader in 2012 and became one of the promotion’s most prominent stars. Yet by 2018, that gimmick had run its course, and it appeared Wyatt’s time as main eventer was ending. However, that wouldn’t be the case, as Wyatt would reinvent himself into a Mr. Rogers–esque character with a demonic alter ego known as The Fiend. Subsequently, he would return to being one of WWE’s most popular characters and one of their biggest merchandise sellers in the years prior to his shocking death.
