Nine months ago, it was revealed that Seth Rollins was secretly filming for the upcoming new Captain America movie. At first, it wasn’t known what his role would be, although it would soon be leaked that he was playing the role of King Cobra, who is part of the Serpent Society. However, it has now been reported that the Serpent Society group has been completely removed from the movie, meaning Rollins’ scenes have ended up on the cutting room floor.
Rollins’ wife, Becky Lynch, also suffered the same fate when she was set to make her MCU debut in Angelina Jolie’s 2021 movie Eternals. The WWE Women’s Grand Slam Champion was set to appear as part of a post-credits scene, yet it was cut due to reportedly being too depressing. Still, it’s said producers liked her performance, so her character could be resurrected in the future.
