Coming out of their Bound For Glory pay-per-view, it appeared that TNA was on a roll, with fans excited to find out what was next with their latest television taping taking place on Sunday. However, in unfortunate news, El Hijo del Vikingo and Chris Bey had to be taken out on stretchers during separate matches. At present, information is sparse, but based on reports and videos by those in attendance, Vikingo’s injury occurred when he landed awkwardly while jumping from the ring, while Bey seemingly took a move wrong and left the ring in a neck brace after being pinned.
While these potentially serious injuries are unfortunate for both men, it is especially cruel for Vikingo, who had only just returned to the ring, having missed seven months due to a torn meniscus and ruptured ligament. Still, it’s possible the need for stretchers was just a precaution, and both men will be able to return to the ring sooner rather than later, which all fans will be hoping is the case.
