Kyle Fletcher made his AEW debut as part of the tag team Aussie Open, working alongside Will Ospreay. However, due to his tag partner Mark Davis being sidelined through injury, Flecther would become a singles wrestler as part of the Don Callis Family. And now, having established himself as one of AEW’s top rising stars, Fightful Select has reported that the 26-year-old signed a new big-money multi-year contract earlier this year.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed with AEW sources that AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher recently re-signed a long-term deal with the company … Fightful can confirm that the multi-year deal was quietly agreed to earlier this spring. It’s considered a big money deal, especially in relation to Fletcher’s age.”Fightful Select

Fletcher broke into the wrestling business in his home country of Australia in 2014, initially under the ring name InstaGraham. From there, he would begin working on the UK independent scene and teaming with fellow Australian wrestler Mark Davis as The Aussie Assault before renaming themselves Aussie Open. Subsequently, they signed with New Japan, winning the IWGP Tag Team Championship and Strong Openweight Tag Team Championship, which put them on Tony Khan’s radar.
