Tony Khan Reportedly Paid Big Money For ROH

Tony Khan has been teasing a big announcement that would be great for both fans and wrestlers the past few weeks. However, some questioned whether he could live up to this on social media. Yet, he undoubtedly did when disclosing that he’d purchased Ring of Honor at the start of Dynamite. Since then the big question everyone is wondering is how much Khan paid for the struggling promotion. And a report from Bodyslam has seemingly answered this reporting that Khan paid Sinclair Broadcast Group up to $40 million.

Not much was known about the specific details regarding Tony Khan’s purchase of ROH, however one source had stated to me that he heard it was in the $30-$40 million range.

ROH seemed doomed when they declared they were going on hiatus and releasing all talents from their contracts. However, the company has since announced they will be running their Supercard of Honor show over WrestleMania weekend in Garland, Texas. Now, with only a handful of names confirmed for the show, there is bound to be speculation of AEW talents getting involved.
