Last week, Ross Von Erich revealed during The Claw Pod that his legendary father, Kevin, had signed an AEW legends contract, which, considering the only other name known to have such an agreement is Sting, is a huge deal. However, it now appears that Kevin Von Erich isn’t just involved with the company in a merchandise and appearance capacity, as Tony Khan has told The Hollywood Reporter that he is also working for the company as a coach.

“The Von Erichs have a great history. Kevin works with us now as a coach.”Tony Khan

68-year-old Kevin, real name is Kevin Adkisson, is well-known to 80’s pro wrestling fans, especially those who grew up in Texas, due to his time working for his father Fritz’s World Class Championship Wrestling. Still, the second-generation star has since achieved global recognition after Zac Efron portrayed him in the highly praised 2023 movie “The Iron Claw,” which made over $45 million at the box office, off a $15.9 million budget.
