AEW original Dr. Britt Baker hasn’t wrestled for the promotion since November 2024, with it reported earlier this year by PWTorch.com that there was “a lot of frustration with her” within the company. However, it now appears that any potential issues with her and Tony Khan may have been blown out of proportion, as during the All In pre-show media call, AEW’s head honcho has suggested she could return to television “at the right time.“
At one time, 34-year-old Baker looked set to be the long-term face of AEW’s women’s division, yet after missing time due to injury and sickness, Khan began pushing other talents. This would see Baker surpassed in status by Mercedes Moné, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter, making her less integral to the product. Therefore, after she was suspended due to a backstage altercation involving MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout, it seemed plausible that the difficult decision had been made to stop using her.
