Tony Khan Acknowledges Backstage Incident At All In Between CM Punk & Jack Perry

Tony Khan put on one of the most successful pro wrestling shows of all time on Sunday night with All In from Wembley Stadium. However, it now appears two talents may have potentially spoilt his special night. That is because, during the show, news broke via Fightful Select that CM Punk and Jack Perry had gotten involved in a backstage altercation, which saw the duo have to be separated. And now, unprompted, Khan would acknowledge the situation during the post-show media scrum by confirming it was being investigated.

“There was an incident backstage before we went live, we are investigating it.”

Who the instigator of the fight has been depends on which sources you choose to believe, with both men being blamed by different wrestling publications. Therefore, it does seem a full investigation does need to be carried out before blame can be accurately pinned on anyone. It is known, though, that the duo previously had words after Perry wanted to do a pre-taped angle involving a car and real glass, and Punk told him not to because it was too dangerous.
