TNA Wrestler Has Undergone Surgery Following Injury During NXT Match

Thanks to TNA’s working relationship with WWE, former main roster talent Elias, who now goes by the name Elijah, has returned to NXT television. Yet, it now appears he is set for an extended spell on the sidelines, as according to Fightful Select, he has undergone surgery after tearing his triceps during his match on this week’s episode when he came off the top rope.

37-year-old Elijah, real name Jeffrey Sciullo, began his pro wrestling career in 2008 under the name Logan Shulo and spent the following years learning his craft on the indies before signing with WWE in 2014. Initially, he would work as an enhancement talent in WWE’s developmental territory before gaining a push himself, and by 2017, he was deemed ready for the main roster.
