The Wrestling World Pays Tribute To Jay Briscoe Following His Death

In absolutely tragic news, it has been reported by WMDT that Ring of Honor’s Jay Briscoe has died, aged just 38, following a crash that also left another person dead. Further details are currently unknown other than the accident occurred around 5:30 pm on Tuesday. Briscoe, real name Jamin Pugh, is survived by his wife, 13-year-old son, two daughters, and brother Mark with whom he held countless tag championships.

Sadly, Jamin Pugh has passed away. Known to fans as Jay Briscoe, he was a star in ROH for over 20 years, from the first show until today.

Jay was one of those people who was always legitimately happy to see ya. He had a twinkle in his eye and hug waiting for me no matter how long we went without seeing each other. I’m crushed knowing that warmth is gone. My thoughts are with his family and friends. He was special.
