Terry Funk Passes Away Aged 79

In heartbreaking news, Mick Foley has confirmed the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk via his Facebook page. No cause of death has yet been released; however, it is known that for the past two years, Funk has been suffering from dementia and, at one point, was living in an assisted living facility. The wrestling legend is survived by his brother, Dory Funk Jr., and two daughters, Stacy and Brandee.

“I’m struggling to process this — but Terry Funk is gone. I just talked to Terry’s daughter, Brandee, who gave me the awful news. He was my mentor, my idol, and one of my closest friends. He was the greatest wrestler I ever saw. ”
