Last November, Tammy Sytch, best known to wrestling fans as Sunny, was sentenced to 17 years in prison with 8 years probation following the DUI manslaughter death of Julian Lasseter back in 2022. And while it is known her legal representative has appealed how long she will serve, it was previously confirmed she would be released from the Florida Department of Corrections in January 2040. However, PWInsider.com has now reported that the date has been updated to December 2039.
“Tammy Sytch is now listed as scheduled to be released from prison in December 2039. Previously she was listed for January 2040. No word as to the change. ”
PWInsider.com51-year-old Sytch was among the top wrestling stars of the 90s, thanks to her good looks and charm. Yet, her career in the business was ruined due to a drug and alcohol addiction. Subsequently, she would be overrun by legal issues, often stemming from her struggle with both substances, which saw her arrested more than a dozen times between 2012 and 2022.
