Syko Stu Makes Unexpected Court Statement As Raja Jackson Begins Jail Sentence

Indie wrestler Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu, delivered a powerful and very unexpected statement in court on Thursday as Raja Jackson began serving his 90-day jail sentence. Smith openly detailed the ongoing impact of the August 2025 assault, which caused him a severe traumatic brain injury, a shattered maxilla, and required a bone graft procedure. Yet despite the life-changing injuries and a difficult recovery, Smith disclosed he has chosen to forgive, declaring he holds no grudges against Jackson and acknowledges that people can make terrible decisions.

What happened affected me deeply, and I do not minimize the seriousness of it. The injuries I suffered led to a long and difficult recovery that I am still trying to recover from, including treatment for a severe traumatic brain injury, a shattered maxilla, and a bone graft procedure. I do not stand here with hatred (or a desire for revenge. I hold no grudges against Mr. Jackson. People can make terrible decisions in difficult moments.” – Stuart Smith

The shocking incident unfolded in August 2025 at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in California, when Raja Jackson, son of UFC legend Rampage Jackson, was appearing on the same show as Syko Stu. What was initially thought to be a scripted angle stemming from a brief altercation earlier in the night turned violent when Jackson delivered repeated legitimate punches to Smith’s head, rendering him unconscious. The brutal assault left Smith with grave injuries, including memory loss and cognitive issues.
