Sting 2.0 Incoming? Steven Borden To Wrestle His First Match

Sting had one of the greatest retirement matches of all time earlier this year, which included his sons, Steven and Garrett, accompanying him to the ring and even memorably getting involved in the bout. Still, it did come as a surprise when it was reported that Steven Borden, who dressed as Wolfpac Sting on the night, had begun training with Darby Allin to become a pro wrestler himself.

And now it has been announced that at an upcoming art exhibition titled “Hardway,” Borden will be making his official debut on a show that also includes Karrion Kross, Timothy Thatcher, and his mentor Allin.

“TNT Champion Darby Allin will be performing live wrestling matches inside a ring installed within the 52 Walker gallery space. Along with Allin, wrestlers K*ller Kross, AR Fox, Steven Borden, Sid Ellington, Kiran Grey, Timothy Thatcher, and others will be performing (along with surprise musical performances).52walker.com

The path of a second-generation wrestler is not always paved with success, as for every Cody Rhodes, Bret Hart, and Charlotte Flair, there is David Sammartino, Scott Putski, and René Duprée. However, if Sting’s son is determined to give it a shot, it appears he’ll support him every step of the way. Plus, if he inherited even a fraction of his father’s charisma and ability, he will likely get every opportunity to become a star like his iconic father.
