Stampede Wrestling’s Spiritual Successor Dungeon Wrestling Running Halloween Show Featuring Multiple Hart Family Members

In April, Bret Hart announced on Instagram that his son Dallas was launching his own wrestling promotion, Dungeon Wrestling. With the name clearly showing that Stu Hart’s grandson is proud of his legendary family’s wrestling history and the Hart Family Dungeon training facility, which produced so much talent. And having already run successful shows, he is now preparing for his next event, titled Wrestleween, which is scheduled for Saturday, 29 October 2022, at Stampede Pavilion in Calgary.

Especially making this newsworthy is the fact that Dallas has used his family connections to book Harry Smith, Brian Pillman Jr., and the Billington Bulldogs, who are related to The British Bulldog, Brian Pillman, and Dynamite Kid, respectively. All of whom found fame in Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling in the 80s. Additionally, being brought in for the show are the Bollywood Boyz, who recently made their AEW debut and have their own connection due to having been trained by Hart family members.

Based on the announced card, it certainly looks like fans are in for a great night of wrestling. With fans anticipating a show reminiscent of the famous days of Stampede Wrestling which ran between 1948 and 2008 in different forms unlikely to be disappointed. And while it seems doubtful that Stampede’s spiritual successor will be able to reach the heights of the original, as long as Dallas provides a place for Canadian talent to work and gives local fans somewhere to see prominent indie names, he will be successful.
