During this week’s episode of SmackDown, there was a tag team gauntlet match that saw Hit Row eliminated in about eight seconds when Top Dolla ran right into a Brogue Kick. And now Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio has stated that the former NFL player isn’t very popular with some people backstage, noting he has to have enemies on the creative team to have received “the burial of all burials.“
“The whole thing is that he is not very popular with some people, and when I watched the way they did that finish, it’s like, man, whatever you said, you’ve got some enemies on the creative team. Because this was the burial of all burials.”
Dave MeltzerIn January 2020, Francis signed with WWE, going on to make his wrestling TV debut on the May 4, 2021, episode of NXT, aligning himself with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott and establishing himself as a heel. The following week, he was introduced as Top Dolla and formed a stable called Hit Row along with Scott, Ashante “Thee” Adonis, and B-Fab. Despite being drafted to SmackDown in the 2021 WWE Draft, B-Fab was released on November 4, and the rest of Hit Row was released 15 days. Nevertheless, when Triple H took over creative in 2022, he would bring the group back without Scott, who had gone on to sign with AEW.
