Shocking Claim Made Regarding Drew Gulak’s Treatment Of Fellow Talents

On Friday, multiple sources stated that WWE was releasing Drew Gulak from his contract, and while it’s since been confirmed that this isn’t technically accurate, it’s understood his contract, which is about to expire, isn’t being renewed. Nevertheless, it results in the same outcome, with the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion soon to be out of work. And now it has been reported by Fightful Select that Gulak actually had a reputation as a bully and would deliberately target colleagues’ injuries, even having to be chastised by Shawn Michaels.

“In asking around with talent in NXT, several talent made claims to Brennan that Gulak was a ‘bully’ who would often target injuries during matches with talent that were recovering from minor injuries at the time. One talent claimed that during a match with Gulak, the former No Quarter Catch Crew member purposefully re-dislocated a previously dislocated finger, while another claimed that Gulak would intimidate talent into not reporting the incidents.

Fightful also learned of an incident during an NXT taping last year where Gulak was verbally reprimanded by Shawn Michaels and NXT coaches for intentionally spiking an opponent during a match.”

37-year-old Gulak recently made headlines after Ronda Rousey put him on blast for grabbing the string of her sweatpants when they were backstage together. Subsequently, Gulak would use social media to defend himself, acknowledging it occurred but insisting it was an accident. Still, not long afterward, Gulak was taken off NXT television, with his character seemingly killed off by the Tony D’Angelo family. However, it now appears Gulak’s interaction with Rousey wasn’t the sole reason for his upcoming WWE departure, with his professionalism being questioned.
