Sheamus Responds To Claim He Returned To WWE Television Out Of Shape

WWE wrestler Sheamus hadn’t wrestled since the August 18th, 2023, episode of SmackDown, when he faced Edge in his final WWE match. The reason for his long absence is understood to have been because of a shoulder injury, although having been teased on television as about to make his return, he would wrestle during this week’s episode of Raw.

However, rather than just enjoying the fact he is back, some fans on social media would attempt to body shame him, a deeply hurtful act. They claimed he was now out of shape, a comment that was both disrespectful and uncalled for. These remarks seemingly made their way to the former WWE Champion, as he would say on his recently reactivated X account, “I’m just big boned 🤫.

46-year-old Sheamus has been with WWE since 2007, although his long-term future with the company is currently uncertain. This is because a few months ago, it was reported that his contract was set to expire in the first part of 2024, and since then, there has been no news of him re-signing. Still, it should be noted that with him having missed so much time injured, WWE can opt to add that time to the end of his current deal, therefore extending his time with the company.
