Legendary metal frontman Ozzy Osbourne’s health issues have been well documented in recent years, and sadly the singer has had to cancel numerous tours and shows because of them. Ozzy had hoped to play last year’s PowerTrip festival in California but had to cancel and was replaced by Judas Priest.

Ozzy’s wife and longtime manager Sharon recently took to the stage herself as part of her “Cut The Crap” speaking tour, and she revealed that “The Prince Of Darkness” wants to properly say goodbye to his fans with two final shows in his original hometown of Birmingham, U.K.

“He won’t tour again,” Sharon said. “But we are planning on doing two more shows to say goodbye as he feels like, ‘I have never said goodbye to my fans, and I want to say goodbye properly.'” She added, “We will do it in Aston Villa, where Ozzy is from.”

Sharon also provided an update on Ozzy’s signing voice, and said that he’s ready to go when it comes to the vocal department. “His voice is still absolutely perfect,” she said. “And all the time he has been off, he still does his singing lessons, so his voice is perfect. And he can joke, yeah. He has all these melodies in his head. Even if you don’t like his music, you can’t not like Ozzy — he just draws you in.”

On a recent episode of The Osbournes podcast, Ozzy said he’s finished having surgeries. He reflected on his surgery from September of last year and said: “When I came out of surgery, I said to Sharon, ‘Whatever I’m gonna be at right now, that’s it. I can’t have any more surgery.’ I had seven surgeries in five years.”

“It’s a slow recovery,” he continued. “I’m not as young as I used to be, so the recovery from anything takes longer than it did before. “I’m gonna try my hardest to get well enough to do a few gigs.”

Last month, Ozzy also responded to an internet hoax that claimed he was dead. “[They have YouTube clips saying] ‘People who have died today’. And they put it on that I died,” Ozzy said. “The thing on YouTube, it’s got ‘celebrities who have died today’, and there’s a picture of me. And I go, ‘I’m not dead. I’m not really dead. Just a little flesh wound.’ I’m not dead. I’m not going any-f*cking-where. And I’m gonna go up and do some more gigs before I’m finished anyway.”
