Ronda Rousey Announced For Upcoming Indie Show Featuring AEW & Impact Wrestling Talent

If someone had predicted at the start of the year that Ronda Rousey would be wrestling on indie shows, they would have been called crazy. However, that is precisely what is happening, as after competing in an unannounced match at Lucha VaVoom on Thursday night, she has now been announced for Wrestling Resolver’s November 16th show in Los Angeles, CA. Who she will be facing has yet to be revealed, but if there was any doubt, she was finished with WWE; the fact that AEW’s Swerve Strickland and Impact Wrestling’s Mike Bailey are on the same card should confirm it.

The former UFC star made sporadic appearances for WWE before officially signing with the company in 2017, going on to make an appearance at the 2018 Royal Rumble. Her in-ring debut would come a few months later at WrestleMania 34 when she teamed with Kurt Angle against Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a match highly praised at the time. Then, at the following year’s event, she would make history by being one of the first women to headline a WrestleMania along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair as part of a triple threat. Subsequently, she would take a break from the ring, becoming a mother during this time, before returning at the 2022 Royal Rumble for her second run with the company.
