Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Rampage Jackson, is currently the talk of both the pro wrestling and MMA worlds after he savagely beat Sgt. Syko Stu Smith during an appearance for Knokx Pro Wrestling on Saturday night. Raja was captured on video entering the ring for what was thought to be an angle with Smith, but instead slammed him to the mat and legitimately beat him unconscious, following a backstage altercation earlier in the evening.
And now with Smith currently hospitalized, with eyewitnesses saying he had blood streaming out of his ears, Knokx Pro Wrestling, a promotion owned by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi, has issued a statement via Facebook. In this, they stated that their thoughts and prayers are with their “brother,” and labeled Raja’s actions as a “selfish, irresponsible act of violence.”
Falling his son’s deplorable actions, Rampage Jackson, who himself is a controversial figure, has taken to X, saying he doesn’t condone his son’s actions, and seemed to blame his appalling behavior on having recently suffered a concussion. However, with it believed Smith’s life currently hangs in the balance, it looks doubtful authorities will accept this as a reason to excuse Raja’s actions, which have ended any chance he had to become an MMA star.
