Recently Grace Rizzo, who plays Jess in Mayans M.C., has taken to social media to call out WWE’s Rhea Ripley for copying her look, seemingly feeling their similar appearances was not a coincidence. According to a video Rizzo first shared on TikTok and then Instagram, the actress feels the libra scale design, haircut, and fade came directly from her. Saying, “I’ve had this happen to me on multiple occasions, and this is probably the biggest time and most obvious I’ve ever seen it happen.“
This would get back to Ripley, who has since taken to social media herself, where she seemingly suggests that Rizzo is doing this because she has more name value than her. Implying she is looking to get famous via the WWE star. Plus would correctly add that Rizzio doesn’t own the logo design that she sometimes has painted on, adding she doesn’t even know who she is.
It’s doubtful this will go anywhere, as Rizzo hasn’t trademarked the specific look, and it’s unlikely she would be able to, given it isn’t that unique. However, it is understandable that she feels she inspired the look given the resemblance. Nevertheless, going after a far more famous person than you on social media who has far more followers isn’t typically a sensible move, and overall the comments have been firmly in Ripley’s favor.
