When news broke two months ago that AEW had let go of former CMLL, AAA, and TNA wrestler Sarah Stock from her role as an agent/producer/coach, many fans believed this was freeing up space for Gail Kim, who TNA had just fired. However, it appears Stock’s exit was unrelated to Kim, as not only has AEW not hired the former WWE star, but Fightful Select has now reported that Kim has been spotted backstage at multiple NXT tapings.
Following Kim TNA’s departure, it was claimed that she didn’t get along with TNA Executive Producer Ariel Shnerer, who also recently left the company, claiming that instead of choosing one over the other, TNA President Carlos Silva fired both. Yet that has since been disputed, and all that’s really known is that the former WWE star intends to remain involved in the business, having stated on Instagram following her firing, “This is not the end of Gail Kim in the wrestling world.”
