Released Former WWE Talent Reveals Their Wrestling Career Might Be Over

Earlier this year, Emma, real name Tenille Dashwood, was released by WWE for a second time. However, given she also previously established herself in both ROH and Impact Wrestling, it was expected only to be a matter of time before she returned to the ring. Yet, it appears that may not be the case, as, during her latest Instagram Reel, she revealed while reflecting on the year that she isn’t sure if she will wrestle again after losing her dream job.

“2023 was filled with highs and lows. The man of my dreams proposed to me, and I lost my dream job at the company where we first met. While I’m not sure if I’ll ever wrestle again… I am sure that I’ll turn this into a positive. No restrictions, no putting things on the back burner. Time to follow my heart.”

The Australian initially signed with WWE back in 2011 and worked for the company until 2017. Subsequently, she worked on the indies before joining ROH and then Impact Wrestling, where she successfully rebuilt her career. Then, in 2022, almost five years to the day of her WWE release, she would return to the county to answer Ronda Rousey’s open challenge, wrestling a nearly seven-minute match against the former UFC champion before losing to an armbar.
