Raquel Rodriguez Shares Unfortunate Health Update After Being Pulled From The Road

Raquel Rodriguez was recently pulled from WWE’s Holiday Live tour, having not wrestled for the company since the start of December. And now she has taken to Instagram to reveal she has been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. This condition is related to the immune system, and the symptoms that Rodriguez may be suffering from include swelling, hives, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, and diarrhea. Currently, there is no known cure, although medication can assist, and it is vital to discover the triggers.

32-year-old Rodriguez began her sporting career via college basketball and would go on to sign with WWE in 2016 after wrestling an indie match. The following year, she made her NXT in-ring debut and was soon being described as a future star due to her size and strength. Subsequently, her career highlight would come in 2021 when she won the NXT Women’s Championship from Io Shirai.
