On Wednesday, The Wrestling Collection, a company that manages social media accounts for various wrestling legends, reported the sad news that Class of 2009 WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware was hospitalized in Mississippi for an unspecified medical emergency condition. With this sad news coming just two years on from him starting a GoFundMe, which failed to reach its target for knee replacement surgery, it’s a sad time for 64 year old.
Remarkably, Koko B. Ware had been wrestling up until 2019, with his knee issues likely causing him to finally step away from the ring. The former WWE star has been a regular on the convention circuit and, as a beloved babyface, always had demand for meet and greets. Hopefully, though, whatever he is dealing with, a present is not life-threatening, although it is concerning prayers have been requested given the circumstances haven’t been confirmed.
