Peyton Royce Files Trademark Applications For Her New Ring Name

Peyton Royce, whose real name is Cassandra McIntosh, was among the ten wrestlers released by WWE on April 15th, ending her six-year run with the company. As WWE has owned the trademark on “Peyton Royce” since 2019, she will need a new name to continue her wrestler career.
Having already updated her Twitter account to @CassieLee, she officially filed trademark applications on April 19th for the name.

The first was for merchandise, with the second being live appearances in professional wrestling. Additionally, she filed an amended application for “Cassie Lee Swim” for swimwear. She had initially filed this last year, but there had been a discrepancy on the paperwork as she used her married surname of Arneill.

The former WWE star still had time remaining on her non-compete clause, and it isn’t known where she intends to wrestle once it expires. There is speculation she could join All Elite Wrestling due to being married to Shawn Spears, giving her a potential opening.
