Seth Rollins is currently sidelined following a knee injury during his Saturday Night’s Main Event match with LA Knight. However, there has been some speculation that it is an elaborate work, after one wrestling journalist claimed he’d been told earlier in the week to expect an injury angle.
And now, seemingly acknowledging this could be true, Paul Heyman has stated during a new interview with CBS Sports that WWE is open to manipulating the media for storyline purposes.
Rollins recently broke his silence on the supposed injury, disclosing on the Rich Eisen Show that his knee is currently too swollen to receive a diagnosis and he is just hoping to be back in time for WrestleMania 42. Still, with him being the current men’s Money In The Bank contract holder, it’s been theorized that he could now cash in at SummerSlam, with most fans believing he was injured.
