Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams released a surprise solo album, “Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party.” The record features 17 tracks and was available via her website for a limited time.
She recently told the New York Times that Paramore aren’t broken up but are currently on a break. “We always take huge breaks,” she said. “In order for us to metabolise sh*t that we go through as people, it takes the amount of time it takes between albums.”
The solo record’s title track (which can be viewed below) features the line “the biggest star, at this racist country singer’s bar.” When asked about the identity of the country singer, Williams revealed that it’s directed at Morgan Wallen. “It could be a couple but I’m always talking about Morgan Wallen, I don’t give a sh*t,” she said. She then dared Wallen to “meet me at Whole Foods, b*tch – I don’t care.”
In the wrestling world, WWE star Bayley has long championed having Paramore play her to the ring. Wallen also has a connection to the WWE having performed at the company’s annual Tribute to the Troops show back in 2018.
